target=_ »blank »

Links moved from old home page

A the time I started soours.com on dixiesys, there was a lengthy discussion around the web design community (what was to become the WaSP), about the bad habit of opening another window (remember, those were pre-Firefox days, tabbed browsing was in infancy), mainly using target=_"blank". Read about it in this discussion on a W3C forum. I also remember that Jeffrey Zeldman used the not-so-well documented target=_"eljefe".

Blog List

Shamelessly lifted from Marc Ghosh (I found the « view selection source » feature on Firefox 1.0!). 75% are known & apreciated. The remaining will be explored :

Added some of my own:

Conflict of a certain interest

Nested ul & li’s seem completely messed up (see « this post »:http://www.soours.com/wordpress/index.php?p=273). Could this be a conflict between WP & the Textile2 plugin ? I would then have to de-activate the plugin. A shame since I used MT-Textile a lot & 99% of this blog is imported from MT 2.661….
ToDo:
* de-activate Textile 2 plugin, check site no go
* activate Textile 1 plugin, check site no go
